My room was larger than I expected, with floor-to-ceiling windows that actually open (rare in the Gulf, honestly). The air conditioning works like a dream — crucial when it’s 45 degrees outside. The bathroom was well-designed with a proper shower that had decent water pressure. I mean, it’s not going to win any design awards, but everything functions well and feels clean and modern. The beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with a sore back, which has happened at other places in this price range.

The breakfast buffet is where Millennium Central Doha really shines. They’ve got this impressive spread that covers pretty much every dietary preference you can think of — continental options, proper Asian dishes, American classics, and everything is halal certified. The vegetarian selection was actually quite good, not just an afterthought like at some hotels. What impressed me most was how fresh everything tasted, even later in the morning when buffets usually start looking tired. The coffee is decent too, though if you’re particular about your morning brew, there’s a proper café nearby.
